■ General Rules
There are some basic rules that apply to any use of any trade or service mark that you do not own, including any trademarks of Dahua, without the express permission of the owner.
1. Do Not Use Dahua Trademarks as Nouns
Every Dahua trademark should be followed by an appropriate noun consisting of the Dahua product or service that is branded with the mark. Dahua Trademarks are adjectives and may not be used as nouns, or alone as a shorthand way of identifying a product or service. The Dahua trademark should be used as an adjective describing a product or service of Dahua. For example,
Improper use: 69高清国语自产拍“We use Dahua to provide security and loss prevention for retail shops;”
Proper use: 69高清国语自产拍“We use Dahua solutions to provide security and loss prevention for retail shops.”
69高清国语自产拍 More examples of proper use are as follows: “Dahua product;” “Dahua WIFI cameras;” “Dahua network camera recorders.”
The only exception to this requirement is when the “Dahua” name is used as our company name as opposed to an identifier of one of our products or services. The “Dahua” name is not only a trademark used to identify our products and services, it also serves as our company name. When referring to Dahua as the company rather than the Dahua brand, do not add the trademark symbol TM or ® in statements, such as “Dahua announced today,” “Dahua provides solutions to customers,” and “the Dahua development team.” would be an appropriate use.
2. No Possessives, Plurals, Verbs or Puns
69高清国语自产拍 We work hard to build customer goodwill, and we use our trademarks to harness that goodwill. Please use the marks as they are designed and intended. Since a trademark is not a noun, it must never be used in possessive or plural forms, and should never be used as a verb or a pun. For example:
Improper use:69高清国语自产拍 We are increasing Dahua’s R&D budget.
Proper use:69高清国语自产拍 We are increasing the R&D budget for Dahua products.
